And so the kitchen dramas have come to end with the winner of BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef 2022 crowned on Thursday night.
In the final, the remaining contestants battled it out to win the approval of judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
But who won the coveted title?
What happened in the Celebrity MasterChef 2022 final?
The three remaining finalists faced one last challenge: to cook and present a faultless three-course meal.
Television presenter Lisa Snowdon, McFly singer Danny Jones and All Saints star Melanie Blatt all put forward their best culinary creations.
The celebrities had two hours to present their three-course meal.
This year’s cohort of 20 famous names included former boxing champion Chris Eubank, TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, former professional footballer Jimmy Bullard and actors Ryan Thomas and Lesley Joseph.
Who won Celebrity MasterChef 2022?
After six weeks of challenges, Lisa, 50, was crowned the winner.
Judge John Torode said: “Lisa throughout this competition has taken the everyday and elevated it into something special.
“This final she dared to do something that was going to be a gamble, and the gamble paid off. Her food is fantastic.”
Gregg Wallace added: “Faint heart never lifts a MasterChef title and that is why Lisa is our Celebrity MasterChef champion.”
Lisa follows in the footsteps of Paralympic gold medal athlete Kadeena Cox, who triumphed in the last series.
What was her winning menu?
It featured a starter of poached rhubarb and pan-fried mackerel with a fennel slaw and thyme oil, while her main course was pan-fried duck breast on a sunflower seed puree with pickled, sauteed and fried mushrooms and cavolo nero.
To finish, she served a chocolate tart with a cigar filled with creme fraiche and sour cherries.
What did Lisa say about winning the show?
Clearly ecstatic, she said: “I’m honestly so blown away. It’s such a life-changing experience.
“I feel like this isn’t real. I just can’t believe it. I couldn’t have wanted to win something that meant more to me than this.
“I am on cloud nine.”
