THE grieving girlfriend of a teenager who was stabbed to death outside his school has revealed their final call just a minute before his death.

Heartbroken Shyana James, 16, described  Khayri McLean as the “love of my life.”

The teen boy tragically died yesterday after he was reportedly pinned to the ground and repeatedly knifed by a masked attacker.

A teacher frantically performed CPR trying to save the 15-year-old after he was attacked near the gates of North Huddersfield Trust School shortly before 3pm.

A 16-year-old boy has since been arrested on suspicion of murder, West Yorkshire Police said.

And now  Khayri’s mourning girlfriend has revealed that Khayri had been on his way home to change clothes and then meet her when he was attacked.

Shyana revealed that he rang her minutes before his death to say he was on his way to her and then sent a Snapchat message showing his location.

But her friend phoned her minutes later to say he had “been hurt and was bleeding”.

The teen, Khayri’s girlfriend of around six months, said she was at a loss to comprehend why the “senseless” killing took place.

Being comforted by her mother close to the murder scene, she said: “He was the best person ever. He would drop anything for you and he’d do absolutely anything for anyone.
